How It All Began

Hello, I am Latoya the proud owner of The Sweet Mix Up
I have always had the desire to create and I was so fascinated by the endless possibilities that could be made with cake! I worked in a grocery store in the deli which was  alongside the bakery and this really pushed my desire to make cakes. I would sneak over every opportunity I had to try and learn as many techniques I could from the decorators and bakers. I started making cakes for my daughters birthday and fruit trays for weddings but put off starting my own business because of fear. 
One day I woke up and God gave me the push I needed with my first official order being a total of 350 cupcakes and 3 large fruit trays, and then Sweet Treats by Latoya now known as The Sweet Mix UP LLC was birthed. I pride myself on mixing the best ingredients to satisfy your sweet tooth and I look forward to cakin with you one day soon!
